Individuals may apply to FAP once per cycle. Both previously approved and denied eligible applicants are encouraged to reapply for FAP funding each cycle. Decisions are made based on current financial circumstances - a prior decision has no bearing on future applications.

Applying Each Cycle

A new FAP application must be submitted each cycle, along with updated financial documentation. Information from a previous cycle does not carry over. Review documentation requirements carefully each cycle, as they may change year to year. Keep in mind any changes in your financial situation, such as marriage/school enrollment status, or changes in parent tax reporting.

2026-27 Cycle Changes

There are two notable changes for the 2026-27 cycle:

    • Financial Aid Documentation: We now require the FAFSA submission summary in place of a school award letter. This change is intended to simplify the documentation process.
*Please note that 1098-T forms do not satisfy the financial aid document requirement.
    • Earlier Notifications: Applicants will receive their FAP decisions earlier this cycle, allowing approved applicants to submit their ADEA AADSAS applications sooner in the application season.
